GAP, the Graduates and Professionals Toastmasters Club, is rated as one of the
best Toastmasters Club in town.
GAP, was founded by HKUGA in 2000 by the Young Group of the Executive Committee
under the leadership of then HKUGA President Mr Patrick Tsang with the advice
of Mr Alex Lai, a senior Toastmaster and HKUGA member. The objective of
establishing this new club is to found a new breeding ground for young
graduates and members.
GAP enters its fifth anniversary this year. Besides being an affiliated association to HKUGA, it is also a chartered Toastmasters Club of the Hong Kong area, under TI, the Toastmasters International, founded in 1924 and based in USA (chartered as the No. 0161 Club of District 80, which include Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau). Toastmasters International is a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to improving communication and leadership skills. The first toastmasters club in Hong Kong was founded in 1954.

Toastmasters can help you reduce the fear of public speaking and learn skills that help you be more successful in whatever path you choose. You will be a better listener, easily lead teams and conduct meetings. You will also comfortably give and receive constructive evaluations.
